Many companies are interested in their employee's health. These companies not only offer health insurance packages, but may hold health fairs once a year in addition to their open enrollment. Performance Spine and Rehabilitation aids these companies by providing spinal screenings as a public service to raise awareness of health.
We have a tight knit health care community. If your company health fair is in need of additional service providers, we can put you in contact with healthcare providers we know and trust. These providers include massage therapists, dentists, dermatologist, health clubs and fitness centers.
If you are interested in any of the services below call (410) 472-9625 and ask for Susan.
Spinal screenings are performed by a board licensed chiropractor. These screenings evaluate posture related issues by comparing the heights of the participant's ears, shoulders, hips, and knees and also their bilateral weight distribution. Many times we can detect a problem on a screening that may require an orthopedic evaluation or additional testing.
These screenings take up a very small amount of space and can be setup almost anywhere. This is why they are most popular in gyms, fitness centers, and health fairs. The screening only takes a minute, and the participant does not disrobe in anyway. In addition the screening is always free of charge to your employees or gym patrons.
We also offer lectures for corporations, colleges, high schools, and fitness centers. These lecture topics range from general health to proper workplace ergonomics, to proper lifting and injury avoidance. In some cases we can offer special topics of your choosing to fit your audience's specific needs.
Lunch and Learn
Got a smaller group? A "lunch and learn" is a great alternative to the formal lecture. These smaller more personal workshops can be done in a conference room on a lunchbreak. The company provides the lunch (usually pizza or sandwiches) and we provide the learning. Much like a formal lecture, we will tailor the content of the workshop to fit your particular needs.
